• Fall 2014

    Jordan Evans #983

I grew up south of Pipestone, MN on my family dairy farm. I joined Alpha Gamma Rho at SDSU my first semester as a freshman in the Fall of 2010. Joining AGR was the best choice I made in college because I was able to communicate and grow friendships with so many others who had a passion for agriculture. The best part of AGR was traveling with my brothers to the Leadership Conferences because it was a great time to meet other AGR’s and bond with those brothers who made the trip with. My future plans consist of finding a career in the Ag Industry and someday have children that can respect and enjoy agriculture the way I do.

    Tyler Peterson #990

I was initiated into the Alpha Phi chapter in the spring of 2011. I am originally from Alpena SD and I am an Agronomy major. I have had an exceptional experience with Alpha Gamma Rho in both being able to hone my leadership skills and building relationships with brothers all over the country. I have also been able to use Alpha Gamma Rho to build my ability as an Ag professional and will be able to carry these abilities with me throughout my life.

    Christian Bergheim #995

My name is Christian Bergheim and I will be graduating in December with a degree in Ag- Business and a minor in Ag Systems and Technology. I plan to pursue a future in the agricultural inputs and crop production fields. I believe the leadership and hard work ideals that I have gained by means of brotherhood throughout the past three and a half years at AGR will benefit me greatly where ever it is that I end up. I ultimately think that joining the Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho was one of the better decisions I have made in my life, and with all of the networking connections I have made I hope to continue down the path of making smart decisions.

    Mitchell Skaar #1002

I’m Mic Skaar from Hayward, Minnesota. In December I will be graduating with a major in Ag Science with minors in Ag Marketing and Ag Business. I joined AGR with the fall class of 2011. After Graduation I will be working for AgReliant Genetics in seed sales, around south central Minnesota. The best thing about AGR to me was the connections I was able to make, not only on a local scale, but nationally as well. Joining AGR was easily one of the best decisions of my college career.

    Tanner Schroder #1004

Being a member of Alpha Gamma Rho was the best decision of my college career. I have the best memories of my life so far with my brothers of AGR and wouldn’t trade it for a thing. My name is Tanner Levi Schroder and I will be graduating from South Dakota State University with an Agricultural Business Degree in December of 2014. I join Alpha Gamma Rho in the fall 2011 as a freshman and will be graduating in 3 1⁄2 years. I am originally from Bellevue, MI. Upon graduation I have taken a job with Producers Ag Insurance Group, Inc. Alpha Gamma Rho has had a positive impact on my life as it taught me well needed skills in leadership, communication, and brotherhood.
